College sweetheart and homecoming queen Elle Woods doesnt take no for an answer. So when her boyfriend dumps her for someone more serious, she puts down the credit card, hits the books and heads for Harvard Law! Along the way, she proves one thing that being true to yourself never goes out of style. Sheridan Smith (Two Pints of Lager and A Packet of Crisps) heads the cast of Legally Blonde and is joined by former member of chart-topping band Blue, Duncan James (playing heartbreaker Warner) and Alex Gaumond (Emmett), Elles love interest. Hes currently touring in We Will Rock You playing the role of Galileo. Directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winning Jerry Mitchell, music and lyrics are by Laurence OKeefe and Nell Benjamin and book by Heather Hach. In its first year on Broadway Legally Blonde has earned seven Tony nominations and ten Drama Desk Award nominations as well as winning an Outer Critics Circle Award.
